Terms of use

Early access

Voses is in early access. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it. We will tell you about changes that significantly affect how you use it.

Early access is free. Before any paid plan starts, we will publish pricing and give you at least 30 days' notice. You will not be charged without agreeing to it first.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account, including by people you invite. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without permission.

Your responsibilities

• Make sure the information you give Voses to answer from, such as prices, hours and policies, is accurate and kept up to date.
• Set rules so that sensitive topics go to your staff, and check how Voses is replying, especially when you first switch on automatic replies.
• Tell your customers that they may be chatting with an AI assistant, and have a privacy policy that covers your use of Voses.
• Have the right to share any information you put into Voses, and use it in line with the law, including privacy law.

About AI replies

Voses uses AI to draft replies. AI can make mistakes, and Voses is designed to answer only from your information and to hand sensitive topics to your staff. Even so, you remain responsible for the advice and information your business gives to customers.

Voses is not an emergency service and must not be relied on for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, or for urgent situations. Make sure your customers have another way to reach you or emergency services when it matters.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website or the service to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• send spam, or harassing, deceptive or harmful content;
• try to access data that isn't yours, or test, probe or disrupt the service without our permission;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the service.

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

Your data

You own the information you and your customers put into Voses. You give us permission to use it only to provide, secure and support the service for you. We handle personal information as set out in our privacy policy, and we do not use your data to train AI models.

Our intellectual property

The Voses software, website, name and logo belong to us. These terms do not give you any rights to them except to use the service as intended.

Ending your use

You can stop using Voses at any time. We may end early access with reasonable notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms. When your account ends, we will delete your business data within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is during early access, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by AI replies, by information you provided, or by your failure to review how Voses is used. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to supplying the service again.

General

These terms are governed by the law of [STATE], Australia. We may update them by posting a new version here, and will give notice of significant changes to people with accounts. Questions? Email welcome@voses.app.
